class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nebraska (1,961,965), Lincoln (291,105), Omaha (491,743)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The limestone capitol was originally completed in 1932 using the designs of Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue.&nbsp; It is located on K Street at Goodhue Boulevard.&nbsp; Interstate Highway 180 is 9 blocks northwest of the capitol.&nbsp; The Capitol is designed in Art Deco style.&nbsp; The Supreme Court and Court of Appeals are located in the capitol building in Lincoln.&nbsp; The state was officially created as the 37<sup>th<\/sup> state on March 1, 1867 from Native American lands, the Louisiana Purchase and the Nebraska Territory.&nbsp; Omaha was the capital until 1867 was it was moved to Lincoln.&nbsp; The state\u2019s name comes from the Native American for \u201cflat water\u201d for the Platte River. &nbsp;Lincoln is named for President Abraham Lincoln.&nbsp; Omaha is named for the Native American tribe which means \u201cdwellers on the bluff.\u201d&nbsp; Panorama Point in Kimball County is the highest point and the lowest point is the Missouri River at the Kansas border.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nebraska government, in the Executive, consists of a Governor, a Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Auditor, and Treasurer.&nbsp; There are 49 Senators in the Legislature, the only single house state.&nbsp; Seven Supreme Court Justices and Six Court of Appeals Judges serve Nebraska in the Judicial.&nbsp; Nebraska is located in the central part of the United States.&nbsp; The geographic center is in Custer County 12 miles northwest of Broken Bow.&nbsp; The state is surrounded clockwise by South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, and Wyoming.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The area is 77348 square miles.&nbsp; It is 16<sup>th<\/sup> largest state in the country.&nbsp; It is the 37<sup>th<\/sup> most populated state in the country.&nbsp; It has a density of 25.4 persons per square mile making it 43<sup>rd<\/sup> in the country.&nbsp; Its major rivers are the Missouri, the Platte, the Niobrara, the North Platte, the South Platte, the Republican, and the Loup.&nbsp; Lincoln is southeastern quarter of the state.&nbsp; Omaha is located in the eastern quarter of the state on the border with Iowa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow
